As I said, it's not as tough as its larger counterparts. A draw back is that you have to treat it nicely, you can't be rough with it in opening trays etc because you might scratch the barrel or break something inside rather easily. It handles envelopes and other sized paper pretty well too. It communicates very quickly with my computer, which is a great feature, so you're not waiting around for your document to be printed. I need a native-supported free printing system, that is reputable not some ad-infested junk app, that will allow me to print to my Brother printer from outside the printers network.
No waiting for ink to dry or for putting papers on top of each other. Mopria doesnt support printing from outside the home network of the printer, and since I dont have an HP printer, I cant use ePrint. And as far as speed is concerned, it's not as fast as the big units, but it certainly beats any ink jet, even the fastest inkjet. The toner may need to be replaced sooner since it's a smaller unit.

There is no driver for P1005 model, either. I try to use the generic HP LaserJet driver but didnt work. Its being detected as usb://HP/LaserJet P1006 but there is no specific driver for it. At this point the job stays in the queue for a minute and then disappears. When I go to print anything in Vista 64 the printer will print one or two pages out of a 5 or 6 page document and then stop. If a prior version software is currently installed, it must be uninstalled before installing this version. I cant make work my HP LaserJet P1006 printer on USB with OpenSUSE. I have an HP P1006 Laser jet printer which is Vista certified.
